Why I'll Never Be Famous

Hello there.

I, like many people across the interwebz and in real life, have the dream of one day becoming rich and famous. Unfortunately, even in the most awesome possible reality, I will never be famous.

There are only two ways that I could possibly become famous:

1) Being a smart person who does cool stuff.
2) Being a groovy person the internet who does cool stuff.

If I choose the path of becoming a real smart person who does cool stuff like writing best selling novels or coming up with a better version of Einstein's theory of relativity then I'll have to work hard. Well... I'll have to work at least. I'll have to go to Uni and get a degree and maybe even a PhD and I'll have to continuously be successful in my academic endeavours. This is certainly not an option because I'm far too lazy for that kind of constant doing stuff. Also if I was trying to come up with a better version of Einstein's theory of relativity then I'd probably get half way through and then be like "Meh, I'll finish this later - I just need to check tumblr." And then 30 years will have gone by and I'll have done nothing.

Picking the being a groovy internet person seems like a pretty safe and easy bet, right? I mean, all I'd have to do is be funny interesting and/or attractive. I'd just have to have a cool blog here or a cool blog on tumblr, or make cool YouTube videos about cool things. To do cool things, though, you have to have some kind of awareness for what is 'in' at the moment, so you appeal to as many people as possible. I haven't seen sunlight for about a week now. *quietly weeps*

Have a groovy day, everyone!

P.S. I'm trying to bring groovy back as a word that people say. I mean, where did that word even go? It's such a great word. It's such a groovy word. Seriously, just say it out loud a few times - can't you see how groovy that is?
